Second Hand Sale, Friday 17th November, 4 - 5pm Please keep bringing in your stuff to sell. Don´t forget to make a couple of posters, print them up and put them around school. Matisse, your poster was brilliant. Let´s see if we can print it up this time! Eli suggested we also sell drinks and food, as there were some requests for this.
Second Hand Sale, Friday 10th November, 4 - 5pm Thank you to all who participated and brought in their stuff to sell. We will do this again next week, and publicize it better during the week. Hopefully more parents will come and buy your things!
Jobs Some of the Year 10s & 11s are working to raise money for their trip. Congratulations to Alice for getting a job teaching English, to Gwen and Stassa for regular babysitting jobs, and to Lucien for teaching piano. Please let me know who else has been able to raise money in this way. You can advertise your services at school if you make a poster!
International Food Day stalls, Friday 22nd September, 4 - 6pm Well done everyone for a fantastic group effort today!
Please let me know how much each group / individual raised separately. This is because I will keep the money until the end of the year and distribute it to you in one lump sum. Each time you raise money, please hand it over and then I will give it to you when you reach 550. If you don´t hand it over, it won´t be recorded on your individual barometer. Anything over that you can keep for pocket money for the trip, I guess. The amounts you raise will be recorded on your individual barometers.
I know that Joshua, Dylan and Dani raised 155 euros today. Congratulations.
The rest of you raised 80 euros total which is also amazing, but I don´t know who raised what. Please let me know before you forget and we can record it on your barometers.
Don´t worry if you didn´t raise as much as, say, the crepe stall. Next time it could be you who earns the most! We will pool the money until the end, but there will always be recognition for who raises the most. You all did a brilliant job and put equal effort into it this afternoon. Congrats.
